Hello and welcome to my web-site. A little "About" me ...I have 18 years combined work experience in biotech and government research; including positions held with (at): Battelle (National Cancer Institute), Human Genome Sciences, Gene Logic, and SRA International (National Institutes of Health). I hold a Doctorate in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from George Mason University, a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Maryland at College Park.In my current full-time position of employment with KELLY Government Solutions, I serve the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as the intramural resident bioinformatics subject matter expert; performing omics-based research and omics-based research support. Notable career accomplishments to date include the co-founding of Gene Logic and the co-pioneering of predictive toxicogenomics. Evidence of my accomplishments include 4 patents issued in the field of toxicogenomics, 1 patent for genomic-based stroke diagnosis, and various published manuscripts. Part-time, I provide consulting services and teach graduate-level Bioinformatics as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland University College (UMUC) and George Mason University (GMU).If you are in need of seemless part-time Bioinformatics-related support, please consider contacting me today.
